Melody Movement Jewel Award Syllabus
Junior Ballet Jewel Award is the follow-on syllabus to the original Junior Ballet.  It includes traditional ballet exercises and new exciting creative themes.  The learning vocabulary includes ballet movements, directions, theatrical terms and music notation. The ruby, emerald and diamond jewel medals are a delightful addition to Melody Movement dancer’s collection.  The award includes a simple question and answer choice for the student to prepare for her presentation.  
The creative themes include the story of the  Broken Vase, the Artist and the Moth and the Candle.  Plus a section on ‘Dancing through the Ages’ including a Medieval piece, Baroque, Victorian Polka and Charleston.

Melody Movement Jewel Award syllabus package
This syllabus is available to licensed Melody Movement teachers and includes traditional ballet exercises and creative themes.  The syllabus is also a useful tool for association grade classes providing teachers with ideas for unset and creative work. The award structure can be run alongside grade preparation allowing opportunities for all children to achieve.
